Participation in the Smith Mountain Lake Poker Run is priced per player, with a two-player minimum required per vessel. Guests are welcome to attend the weekend’s festivities but do not participate in the card game or qualify for prizes. Each registered boat may carry as many players and guests as its legal capacity allows. The event is limited to a set number of boats to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, and spots typically fill quickly.
Registration includes participation in the Poker Run and access to scheduled event activities, including social gatherings, food, and entertainment throughout the weekend. Boats of all types are welcome. This is not a race. Speed is not a factor. The focus is on community, camaraderie, and supporting local charities that serve the Smith Mountain Lake area.
All proceeds from the event benefit lake-area nonprofit organizations.
